Protecting Children & Families

I will work to strengthen Washington’s Family Reconciliation Act by expanding the definition of “imminent danger” so we can intervene earlier when children are in unsafe situations. We must prevent more tragedies, protect vulnerable kids, and give families access to real help before it’s too late.

Parental Rights

Parents are the primary advocates and decision-makers in their children's lives. I will work to restore and strengthen parental rights, ensuring parents have a meaningful voice in their children's education, health, and well-being. Washington families have clearly expressed concerns about recent policies, and I believe parents deserve transparency, respect, and a seat at the table when decisions affecting their children are made.
