Affordable & Reliable Energy

Washington families are being crushed by rising energy costs. One of the root drivers is the Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA), which requires utilities to reach 80% clean energy standards by 2030. While we all want cleaner energy and a healthy environment, the current timeline is creating major cost pressures on families, businesses, and our energy grid.

I support extending the timeline to 2040 so we can transition responsibly without overwhelming working families with skyrocketing utility bills or risking future blackouts and brownouts. We need practical, balanced energy policies that protect both affordability and long-term energy reliability.
